Community Futures of Nadina November 2005 Project

November 2005 the eBC team visited the Community Futures of Nadina offices in Smithers and Houston to deliver Website Design Fundamentals and Internet Marketing workshops. Community Futures of Cranbrook November 2006 Project

November 22nd 2006 the eBC team visited Cranbrook at the request of CFDC – Cranbrook.  eBusiness Consultants, Christina Baumgartner and Andy Latter, facilitated a full-day seminar titled “Web Design and Internet Marketing”.  This seminar was attended by a new small business owners and existing small business owners who were interested in taking their businesses online.

This particular course was an amalgamation of several eBC seminars that are normally delivered at Small Business BC in Vancouver.  The topics included getting online, designing websites, tools for web design, SEO, internet marketing and many more.  Not only were Christina and Andy able to answer a lot of questions and fill in blanks for the budding entrepreneurs, but they were able to formulate a much better understanding of what resources needed to be added or enhanced on eBC’s website.  As a result, we have recently doubled the number of topics covered in our eBiz Guides under the Resources section of our website.  Many more BC residents who live outside of greater Vancouver will now be able to find the answers to their internet start-up and expansion questions without face-to-face consultation.
